These tasty deli boxes (see below) are made for 2, delivered to your door, ready to be eaten whenever you are. There are choices of brunch, afternoon tea, ploughman's, antipasti or charcuterie.

Custom letter or number filled with your choice of platter box for that extra special touch.
BBQ hamper (£30 for 2 people)
Includes locally made 2x beef burgers, 2x Moroccan flavoured chicken skewers, 2x BBQ pork chops and 2x plain lamb chops, 2x bread rolls, mushrooms, peppers, courgette, cheese, ketchup, BBQ and HP sauce, yellow mustard, salt and pepper.

Celebration Package (Minimum order £55)
Why not surprise your loved one with flowers or balloons or both, loving prepared and presented in your lodge for your arrival. Our florist will make contact with you to discuss your requirements.
Handmade Celebration Chocolates (Minimum order £11)
Locally handmade chocolates can be ordered delivered to your cabin, ready for your arrival. Why not treat your loved one. These are delicious and a real tasty treat. Flavours include biscoff, banoffee, passionfruit, candy cane, salted caramel to name a few. Our chocolatier will contact you to discuss your requirements. Please give at least 1 weeks notice for this, as the chocolates are made fresh to order.

Enjoy the beauty of the Chesterfield Canal with Dylan a local historian with lots of interesting facts. A keen forager too, collect treats with recipes to make slow gin, blackberry pie, elderflower, wine apple cider and wild garlic and nettle pesto.
A GUEST PERSPECTIVE
"Hawthorne Hideaway A lovely bolt hole with lots of scrumptious treats and activities. We booked a duo massage (sublime), afternoon tea (generous variety and even included a bunch of daffodils!), sauna (fabulous) and BBQ hut with hamper (high quality and so lavish, we had the chops and enough vegetables for dinner the following night). All highly recommended. We enjoyed walks along the canal and in the ground’s illuminated woodland. An evening glass of fizz by the water’s edge & hot tub bubbles under the stars. Our lodge (we stayed in The Swan) was cosy and had plenty of quality fittings; comfy bed, log burner, super shower and the kitchen was fitted with all the basics. The breakfast hamper provided enough for at least two breakfasts (we enhanced with extra teabags). There are too many positives to list and it’s probably nice to leave a few surprises for future guests to discover for themselves. A big thank you to Sarah, the site team and local suppliers, but especially to Josephine for your warmth and hospitality and being on hand for us when needed.
