WHAT'S INCLUDED
All accommodation has private covered hot tubs.
All the accommodation has a large garden area with seating and a fire bowl BBQ. Logs are provided for this too.
All the accommodation has log burners. A good supply of logs is included for your stay.
Use of the wood burning sauna is included in the price of your stay. One-hour private sessions for just you and your partner can be booked on our website. Logs and towels are provided. There is a gorgeous large window looking out to the duck pond beyond.
Use of the BBQ cabin is included in the price of your stay. 2-hour private sessions can be booked for you and your partner, and it includes the charcoal and BBQ utensils and equipment.
The massage yurt is available for treatments, which can be an added extra to make your stay more relaxing and special. The Duo Deluxe couples massage is a real treat.
All the accommodation has luxury day beds to lounge in. Owl Lodge this intricate driftwood day bed, Swan Lodge, the cosy rotating bed that follows the sun and Kngfisher the hanging tiipii bed.
To surprise your oved ones, we can provide celebration packs ready waiting for your arrival of flowers, balloons and locally handmade chocolates.
The Chesterfield Canal is 46 miles long and is the perfect scene for country walks, cycling and fishing. All accommodation has their own private seating down by the canal, so why not catch one of our gorgeous sunsets.

A GUEST PERSPECTIVE

"Hawthorne Hideaway A lovely bolt hole with lots of scrumptious treats and activities. We booked a duo massage (sublime), afternoon tea (generous variety and even included a bunch of daffodils!), sauna (fabulous) and BBQ hut with hamper (high quality and so lavish, we had the chops and enough vegetables for dinner the following night). All highly recommended. We enjoyed walks along the canal and in the ground’s illuminated woodland. An evening glass of fizz by the water’s edge & hot tub bubbles under the stars. Our lodge (we stayed in The Swan) was cosy and had plenty of quality fittings; comfy bed, log burner, super shower and the kitchen was fitted with all the basics. The breakfast hamper provided enough for at least two breakfasts (we enhanced with extra teabags). There are too many positives to list and it’s probably nice to leave a few surprises for future guests to discover for themselves. A big thank you to Sarah, the site team and local suppliers, but especially to Josephine for your warmth and hospitality and being on hand for us when needed.
