Our romantic, intimate ceremonies can include up to 10 overnight guests when using Kingfisher narrowboat as your bridal suite, or up to 8 overnight guests when using one of our lodges.
Intimate yurt weddings can hold up to 10 guests.

Your celebrant-led ceremony will be uniquely crafted to reflect your love story. A personalised poem will be written just for you, creating a meaningful and heartfelt moment. As we are not a licensed wedding venue, you’ll need to complete the legal formalities at a registry office – just as we did on our own wedding day. A special keepsake will be yours to treasure long after your wedding day has passed.
Personalise your elopement ceremony with a unity sand or hand fasting ceremony. Your day can be as unique as the love you share.
Our professional wedding photographer can document your day with unlimited edited images presented in an online gallery. A pre-wedding photoshoot is included either, onsite on the day of your arrival or in a location previously agreed on a chosen day before your arrival at Hawthorn Hideaway. Our waterside location, adjacent to the green flag awarded Chesterfield Canal in Walkeringham is the perfect backdrop for your wedding day. You’ll receive a gift box containing a USB, a DVD slideshow set to music, and twenty 5×7 prints.

Choose from beautifully crafted 5, 6, or 9 course tasting menus, or a bespoke three-course dining experience created around your tastes for intimate weddings and celebrations with up to 12 guests.
Private dining experience starts from £150 per person for two guests, with pricing varying depending on your chosen menu and payment made directly to the chef.
