Step into your own romantic yurt restaurant for the evening at Hawthorn Hideaway, Yorkshire. Soft candlelight, fairy lights and woodland surroundings create an intimate setting private dining with your own chef.  

During valentines weekend the yurt transforms with over 50 candles and our signature heart-shaped arch for an unforgetable evening together.

At Hawthorn Hideaway, private dining becomes a romantic journey through beautifully curated tasting menus to an indulgent 9-course experience, every dish is designed to slow you down and elevate your evening together.

Please note, Rose and Kimberley the Private Chef’s charge an additional £50 travel fee for their private dining experiences.

Your bespoke 3-course menu is tailored to your tastes, from elegant starters to indulgent desserts. Intimate dining experiences designed just for two. 

Popular choices include a scallop starter, perfectly cooked steak main, and either a trio of desserts or warm sticky toffee pudding to finish.

A delicious 9 course sea and shore tasting menu for romantic private fine dining for two. The menu: king prawn with avocado, lime and sea salt tortillas; native lobster bisque with cognac and tarragon; tuna ceviche with chilli, charred corn and tiger’s milk dressing; seared scallops with roast coppa and lemon gremolata; pan‑roasted wild halibut with champagne and chive beurre blanc and wilted sea herbs; pink grapefruit and champagne granita with sea salt; smoked haddock rarebit with onion jam; dark chocolate and sea salt fondant with vanilla bean ice cream and chocolate crisps; handmade petits fours.
Delicious 9 course taster menu for private fine dining experience. The menu: squash and mascarpone arancini with blue cheese mousse and toasted pumpkin seed crust; pea and broad bean velouté with tarragon crème fraîche and mint oil; beef carpaccio with parmesan crisps and truffle honey dressing; gin cured sea trout with pickled cucumber, candy beetroots and white balsamic; white peach and raspberry granita; seared beef fillet with green olive caponata, cauliflower purée, charred tenderstem and Pedro Ximénez; whipped goat’s cheese with honeyed thyme and macerated blackberries; dark chocolate ganache and pistachio tiramisu with burnt chocolate mousse; handmade petits fours.

A romantic, private dinner for 2 is set up in the private yurt restaurant for 2. The large heart shaped arch adorned with fairy light, roses, and over 56 candles sets the scene. Hanging from the heart is a large Will You Marry? Led sign, a bold statement for such a special occasion. After popping the question enjoy a 3 course dinner cooked by your own private chef.
